The film’s success prompted the record company to release a second single from the soundtrack. It was Two Hearts which like its predecessor was a very successful single. In the UK it appeared in 7”, 12” and CD formats with the CD being a collector’s item appearing as a 3” CD single enclosed in a heart shaped box. The 12” was also accompanied by a limited edition set of four postcards from the video of the song. In all of these releases, the B side was the same: The Robbery, another instrumental composition by Anne Dudley.

And now we come to the most recent material by Phil. 1989 saw the release of a series of compact disc singles by Virgin Records, and these have included one by Phil. It was a re-issue of Phil’s 1982 hit: You Can’t Hurry Love and was the same version as appeared on the 12” back in 1982.

Last year also saw the release of Phil’s latest album: But Seriously, and so far only one single has been released from it although no doubt others will follow. The new single is: Another Day In Paradise and like the last couple of Phil’s releases, it has appeared on 7”, 12” and CD. Both the 12” and CD versions have two non-album tracks: Saturday Night And Sunday Morning and Heat On The Street although both of these do appear on the CD version of the album. The 7” version has Heat On The Street as its B side.
